‘Living Room Sessions’ Open House Jam Final Farewell & Fundraiser Event Taking Place Wed May 20th
The final Live From The Mic ‘Living Room Sessions’ Open House Jam is taking place this Wednesday May 20th in Downtown Brockville.
Put together by local musicians the Jam has run for over 11 years across downtown Brockville venues, including its The Keystorm, Texas Tavern, and a stunning Victorian ‘House Concert’ venue. The jam may be ending but musician Amanda Keeley has BIG plans for both her own journey, and the future of Brockville’s music scene. The event will serve as a “Final Farewell Jam and fundraiser” for Amanda’s new venture ‘1000 Islands Music Coalition’ with plans to bring a music festival to Brockville this September 18 & 19.
The organizers expect the final jam to be an exceptionally busy night of live music as Jammers old, and new play on the Live From The Mic stage one last time. The event is open to the public “everyone welcome” and will kick off with the house band performing at 7PM followed by jammers. It is free to attend but donations are “greatly appreciated” and a fundraiser raffle will take place as the fundraiser portion of the event.
